Recognized by GFSI (Global Food Safety Initiative), SQF certification assures buyers that food has been produced, processed and handled according to the highest standards. Maxi has proudly held SQF certification since 2009.


Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) is an approach to food safety that is systematic and preventive. Maxi Canada has held HACCP certification since 2001.


The Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism (C-TPAT) program was developed by U.S. Custom and Border Protection (CBP) to enhance supply chain security and expedite border clearance. Maxi has been a member of this program since 2005. The program serves to reinforce private sector security measures regarding food terrorism.
